Junk Catcher
Junk Catchers provide a means of safely collecting dropped objects and unforeseen debris within the well bore. They can be suspended from a nipple No-Go profile or positioned on top of a pre-installed lock or bridge plug.
Typically the Junk Catcher will have a ‘GS’ style fish neck for deployment and retrieval from the well bore. The middle tube section can be manufactured to any length required, and if necessary, have ported bypass holes.
The bottom sub can be a simple tapered guide bull nose or have a connection to allow other tools to be attached below, such as a blanking plug equalising prong.
