Safety Valve Tools
Oilenco have developed a range of specialised slickline intervention tools to aid the function of faulty tubing retrievable safety valves.
The Lock Out Tool will open hydraulic control line communication to the tubing.
The Lock Open Tool will permanently lock open the safety valve by manipulating the flow tube, resulting in deactivation of the flapper.
Subsequently, a wireline retrievable surface controlled inset safety valve can be installed inside the existing safety valve.
Other safety valve assistance tools are currently under development.
