Oilenco have developed a derivative of the traditional Tubing End Locator, specifically designed to greatly reduce the amount of overpull needed to confirm depth correlation during slickline operations.
The SofTEL features a single shear type brass screw and uses mechanical leverage of the finger to deliver a low overpull indicator at the wireline entry guide.
An integral torsion spring delivers 180° deflection to the finger, thereby safely swinging the finger neatly into the recess pocket after shearing.
An extremely simple, easy to operate tool for correlating slickline depth at the WEG.
