Tree Cap Extractor Tool
The Oilenco Tree Cap Removal Tool provides a safe and practical means of lifting and removing the tree cap after it has been unscrewed from the flange.
Tree caps can be large, awkward-to-handle items, with little means for manual lifting such as handling aids. The seal of the tree cap also requires extracting from the flange bore.
Developed in conjunction with the Tree Cap Removal Tool, the Extractor Tool was designed to provide a safe, lightweight, easy-to-use way to extract the tree cap seal from the flange bore and manually lift the tree cap.
Firstly, the extractor tool is threaded into the tree cap threaded NPT port. The two adjustable clamping screw are then positioned on the outer rim of the tree cap and tightened simultaneously. This process extracts the tree cap seal from the flange bore. Once the two clamping screws are sufficiently tightened, the extractor tool forms a rigid grip with the tree cap. The two outer soft grip handles are then used to safely lift and remove the tree cap free from the flange.
