Under Plug Wire Brush Roller
Further to the development of the Wire Roller Brush and as direct result of testing, the application of using it as an under plug roller/seal bore cleaner has been realised.
Tests showed the Wire Roller Brush freely rolled even in high deviated tubing. With high mass and freedom of linear motion, the tool rolls effortlessly inside high angle tubulars. By adding this device to the lower end of the toolstring, the remaining toolstring is effectively pulled down hole.
Furthermore, by adding the Wire Roller Brush to the bottom of a lock mandrel/plug assembly, it lifts the assembly and reduces frictional drag, while the target seal bore can be pre-cleaned prior to setting the lock – all in a single deployment.
