Warren Ackroyd - Managing Director
After leaving school in 1987, Warren commenced a traditional mechanical engineering apprenticeship and achieved his HNC in engineering during this period.
His first taste of the oil industry came during undergraduate training with BP Wytch Farm whilst studying at university, for which he obtained an honours degree in 1996.
His oil industry career continued in the field of mechanical engineering for the following five years through various positions within Pressure Control Engineering.
In 2001 Warren relocated to Aberdeen primarily to broaden his exposure to the UK North Sea oil & gas sector.
An intentional move to the fast pace of operations with Weatherford Well Intervention Services provided invaluable operational experience in well intervention and fishing techniques.
In 2005, Warren returned to the field of mechanical design engineering with Wireline Engineering Ltd, specialising in the design of wireline fishing tools, design & build projects & new product development.
