Oilenco have recently completed the first installation of our very own wireline retrievable safety valve.
The scope of the project extended way beyond simply providing the safety valve – Oilenco provided the client with a full turnkey solution, including the provision of a custom-made Lockout tool and the newly developed Hybrid Straddle System. The straddle system features a dual expanding seal mechanism whereby seal elements are simultaneously set into both the upper and lower seal bores of the Tubing Retrievable Subsurface Safety Valve (TRSSSV).
