Overview
The Oilenco Hydraulic stud removal tool provides a means to safely remove flange studs that have seized in place during their working life.
This can be especially important during surface wellhead removal where the connection between the pack-off adapter flange and christmas tree needs to be broken. In this instance flange studs have not only seized on, but the accumulation of rust on the stud and flange interface can often prevent the separation of the connection. In these cases removal of all studs reduces the pull required and allows a safe and controlled separation of the connection.
No more pipe wrenches and extension bars, putting personnel at risk due limited access, tools slipping and breaking under load.
